Lent started and I'm once again drawing these quick daily designs (instead of watching dramas and reading fanfics ಠ﹏ಠ). Last year I was drawing LOTR characters, the year before it was dogs in clothes, this year it's Vampires! Each one is based on a particular bird species. Enjoy! 🩸🦇🦜

There will be another update to the demo, yes. I'm back and forth whether it will be Chapter 5 and 6, or just Chapter 5, as there's some quite spoilery stuff in Chapter 6...

I have two questions about N: I know it probably encroaches spoiler territory, but…

On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being absolutely terrifying and 1 being tame, how high would you rate N’s Tier X ability?

And… is it likely (or even a possibility) that MC will see this ability first hand?

Ohhh...this really does encroach a bit into spoiler territory, but I'm having such fun answering asks again and getting to chat Wayhaven with you all, I'm really tempted to answer anyway, hehe!

Okay, so N's Tier X ability is terrifyingly off the scale, but not in the way you may think.

It's something you'll learn about in Book Four.

And yes, the MC definitely will get a front row seat to that fun at some point in a future book... ;D

speaking on the medical aspect of this, Vampires are simply corpses who got a little bitey, so I would suggest that Vampires should follow the process of blood that first de-oxygenatates then begins to decompose. So their skin palette should be pale moving on the side of blue in the extemities (Cyanosis) then turn shades closer to burgundy/brown as their original blood decomposes. this colour can be reversed with how much fresh blood they've drank to replace the blood that isn't being used to upkeep a living body.

I’m not super fond of the way vampires turn pale no matter their skin tone so here’s a proposal:

This was loosely based off livor mortis which is the bluish-purple discoloration of the skin of dead bodies. It’s a result of the gravitation of blood but fuck that vamps are purple now
